Septic tanks were first introduced in Europe in the late 1800s, and until recently, the design has remained basically the same.
With over 25 years of experience in the design and manufacturing of Septic Tanks, RMI is pleased to introduce several new design enhancements to increase treatment efficiency, assist in installation, and provide longer service life. |

Optimum Treatment of Sewage

The tank has 38 ft2 of surface area, which provides a bacterial zone with a larger volume and a higher quality effluent.

The compartment sizes are 2/3 and 1/3, which improves the removal of BOD and suspended solids.
-
Solids are digested in the first compartment, whereas the second compartment provides an area of quiescent settling.
-
Gas baffles prevent gas bubbles from carrying solids to the second compartment.
-
Watertight, threaded, 20" lids (standard) and a threaded stackable 9" riser (optional) provide easy access for inspection and maintenance.

The 1250 Gallon Septic Tank is IAPMO certified.
